Due to limited capacity, our availability for group visits prioritises schools and colleges where there are a high proportion of students from disadvantaged backgrounds, areas of low progression to higher education (based on our contextual admissions policy), or who have a relatively high number of students from our .

Campus visits for pre-16 school groups

For school visits with pre-16 school groups that are from widening participation backgrounds please contact schoolsandcolleges@manchester.ac.uk.

Visit the Ò°ÀÇÉçÇø Museum or The Whitworth Art Gallery 

You may want to consider visiting the newly refurbished or  , two of the University’s cultural institutions.  

To arrange a visit to Ò°ÀÇÉçÇø Museum, please email school.bookings@manchester.ac.uk with the title "School campus tour" and details of your school and campus tour. You can also access a range of to support your visit.

Self-guided tours for school and college groups

Our self-guided tour guide is available to download from the Visit UoM app.

Once your students have downloaded the app, they can take a tour remotely from the comfort of their own homes. Alternatively, you can email the team to arrange a time to visit campus on a date that suits you for a self-guided tour.

Please note, we are unable to arrange for staff or ambassadors to accompany self-guided tours.
